MY DIY | Spike Headband

1.23.2013
The move is over! I'm in my new apartment...huge sigh, now back to DIYing. I am gearing up for Fashion Week, and wanted to make a stand out accessory. This one does double duty as a headband and a little decoration for my sockbun. It's a statement piece that can be made in minutes. Steps after the break!

Supplies
Faux leather
Spikes with Screw
E600 Glue
Hair elastic

How To
Snip a small hole in the faux leather
Put the bottom part of the spike through the hole and screw on the top part
Continue this around the top of the headband, spacing the spikes evenly
Next, loop the end of the headband through the elastic, fold over and glue to itself
Repeat on the other side and let dry

  17. very cute and simple! adds spunk to your outfit. I could use that on my bad hair days so no one notices my hair and just pays attention to the headband. hahaha
