DIY JEWELRY | Wire Heart Necklace

1.17.2013
My super talented jewelry designer friend, Honey My Heart, sent me a new take on the wire heart perfect for a super sweet necklace.  Make a bunch and give to your friends! Steps after the break.

How To:
Start with 4” of wire.
Bend the wire at the center to create a valley using round nose pliers.
Wire will look like 2 hills. Then bend both ends in to form a heart.
Once heart is formed, leave room at ends of wire for securing the heart at the bottom.
Bend the right end of the heart.
Put left end through the right and tighten the right.
Bend the left end back and around.
Both ends should come together. Trim, sand down. Form the heart more, if needed.

  19. These are lovely designs and it’s amazing work too! Whoever made these is so patient to twist the wires and form it in different shapes like the heart. These are simple but are very nice statement pieces.
