HOLIDAY DIY | Gift Wrapping with 9W

12.16.2012

It was an action packed DIY weekend! I hung out at the Nine West Tote Truck making hangtags and custom wrapping paper with everyone who picked up 9W neon and glitter goodies. You can do-it-yourself too with this step-by-step. For more pics from the event, make sure to hop over to the Facebook album here AND don't forget, today is the last chance to tweet @NineWest with the hashtag #9Wtreasures with your DIY idea for this bag to enter to win it!

Supplies:
Tags
Cotton balls
Sharpie Markers
String
Paper
Dot stickers
String

How to:
First, make your tag:
Roll the cotton balls in the palm of your hands to make three round balls from small to large
Dab three dots of glue on your tag, and glue down your cotton balls to make the snowman's body
Next, draw on arms and a hat

Second, make your wrapping paper:
Place your stickers onto your brown paper
Wrap your present
Then wrap string around the box
Double up a piece of string and make a bow
Attach your snowman hangtag
Give your gift!

  2. I was going to print my own wrapping paper this year but have seriously run out of time - I think stickers might be the next best thing to decorate with. Thanks for the inspiration, love your blog.
