[My DIY] Bright Trim Shirt

10.02.2012
Here in NY, we continue to straddle the seasons. With the weather flip flopping between 80 degree days then rainy and chilly, this DIY shirt has become a staple. My classic white button down got a makeover, and it's now the perfect layering piece at as we transition. I wear with bright pants and a jean jacket on a warm day, or have been pairing it with black jeans and a leather jacket on the cooler day.
My Heatbond and Rowenta iron have been working overtime recently, and I'm pretty jazzed at the simple updates you can do with the two, like here and here! Steps after the break...

  15. Love the idea! It reminds me of the Rebecca Minkoff SS13 shirt where it had the floral pattern trim and collar. Can't wait to try this out!
