[My DIY] Hair Chain

9.20.2012

I've recently discovered the sock bun, and am a little obsessed! It is a major way to amp your updo and give your hair a lift. After seeing so many stars adding chains to thier hair styles, I gave my big bun a golden upgrade. With a couple hair combs and an assortment of chains, you can deck out your 'do for everyday, or add a string of rhinestones for an evening out.

Supplies:
3-4 pieces of chain or rhinestones (each 1ft)
Jump rings
Hair combs
Jewelry  pliers
Chain cutter

How to:
First, cut chain and lay down how you would like it to look in your hair
Next attach each peice of chain to your comb with the jump rings. Start with your shortest chain at the top of the comb (while teeth face in)
Attach second piece of chain in the middle of the comb
Then attached third piece to the bottom of the comb.
Insert one comb on each side of your head, teeth facing down
