Over on Pinterest, I have been busy pinning DIY accessory inspiration, and when I looked back at my board I noticed a pattern emerging: Rope necklaces. I made a couple a while back (here and here), but am jonesing to make another. I've been collecting rope obsessively (honestly, I need to stop) and plan on sporting a collection of statement utility style neck pieces this spring/summer, stay tuned.

Great collection of necklaces! I think it would be a fun diy.

Gotta LOVE that Pinterest!
I recently posted a rope necklace I've been working on my blog, but the material is pretty tricky to work with. I've never gotten knots down at all. But I love giant beads on rope with emboidery floss colors.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the rope jewelry trend!
ReplyDeleteIt takes me back to the days of making square knot "friendship" bracelets as a kid. Once I even wrapped a strand of my hair in embroidery floss and beads, and it took HOURS to take it out. But it looked awesome. :)
estupendos!!
