Growing up I was a always a fan of thrifting my outfits and creating interesting (often unusual) looks from my finds. Now, I still head back to Wisconsin for the second-hand stores, and have made a tradition bringing home my bounty and altering, hemming, or shrinking each piece with the help of my Mom. By the end, we always come out with a bunch of new pieces to add to my wardrobe.
After a few nips and tucks, this $2 dress was the perfect electric mini. I threw on a leather jacket (which is repurposed from other vintage jackets) and DIY clutch to complete the look!
