I am  absolutely loving these Tom Bins inspired DIY necklaces I have been spying around the blogosphere! An inexpensive necklace and some nail polish yields a colorful creation easily paired with a LBD, or embrace the mixed material trend and wear with your fave Summer print.

I added this DIY to my Facebook reader DIY album, but I'm kinda obsessed so had to post this amazing rope necklace by Donatella from Inspiration & Realisation (she actually knits her own rope)! Her site also has endless DIY projects inspired by designer pieces. The necklace above was inspired this fab Missoni necklace!

[DIY love} color block clutch

How AMAZING is this color block clutch by Just B! I am kind of obsessed. I love the idea of adding a punch of neon into a neutral outfit, and this is a beyond perfect way to achieve it.  I actually order an American Apparel clutch like this awhile back, but it is on an epic backorder...waaa waaa. Last week I crafted a statement necklace from straws, shoestrings and spraypaint for the Art of ReUse contest, and I am loving the final look! I'm digging the tribal vibe, and its perfect to dress up jeans and a tank, or add some interest to the neckline of your little black dress.
