[my DIY] Jason Wu inspired V-Neck

9.05.2011
Hope everyone is having an amazing Labor Day!  I spent the weekend away from my laptop going to concerts, the beach and now off to a BBQ. Just want to quickly stop in to share a project I did with Kmart using one their Route 66 V-Neck Long Sleeve Top. Inspired by Jason Wu's runway, I added lace to a plain T.
What did you make this weekend?

  1. it looks really good :) I like to attach lace everywhere, it changes regular pieces to glamourous ones ;)

  2. I've seen Ann Taylor/Loft have a top that I coveted but they don't ship (yet) to Canada. This alternative is a wonderful idea. What type of glue did you use so the lace stays after a wash?

  14. Does anyone know where I could find lace? I tried Michael's today but they didn't carry. Maybe a fabric store? But, I don't know where to find those.
