I have a new current obsession: Metallic Spray paint. I swear it is a game changer.
Taking a cue from this amazing project, I grabbed an American Apparel clutch, gold spray paint and masking tape. Steps after the break!
UPDATE: if you are having problems with the spraypaint sticking to the leather, try painting with Jacquard Lumiere Metallic Paint, works like a gem!
While I was at it, I sprayed this bracelet (it was a little TOO silver) from Forever 21. See, spray paint, does make everything better. Oh, and check the new rhinestone bracelets I made this weekend, my new faves.
Tape off the area that you would like to be gold.
Holding the spray paint at least 6" away, spray a thin layer, covering the bag. Let dry.

Ohhhh I love it!!! You gave it a whole new look! Spray paint rocks
