Anyone who knows me, knows that my oxford collection is quite large. I was beyond elated when I saw one after another walk down the Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2011 runway. From spotted styles to metallic, a glittery number caught my eye, and you know what that means: DIY!
What you need to get started: A pair of Oxfords (mine are from Wanted Shoes), Mod Podge, and Sliver Glitter (Martha Stewart's White Gold Glitter worked perfect), paint brush and masking tape.
Using the masking tape, cover all areas you do not want to be metallic.
Next create a paste by mixing equal parts glitter and Mod Podge.
Paint a thick layer on to your shoes.
Let dry for a hour, then fill in any areas not completely covered.
After the glitter paste is dry, go over it one more time with just Mod Podge so glitter does not fly off your feet as you walk. Let dry another couple hours before wearing.
There you have it!

So cute! I love the glitter accent, rather than all covered in glitter! Great work!
