[diy] old school

3.30.2011
After seeing two of my fave DIYers, ...Love Maegan and Honestly...WTF, take it old school in recent projects, I could not help but pick up some Lester Lace (or gimp) when I was at Blick Art the other day. I love the idea of reviving this look for the summer! Swimsuit designer Brette Sandler, sold the arm candy (above)last Summer, which could be an uber chic look with a chunky gold watch and a few bangles.
What do you think, bring the trend back or leave it on the playground?

  1. I really like the look in suede or leather cords; it ups the style quotient! But the plastic lanyards should definitely stay on the playground.

  4. I say bring it! I recently bought some as well, I thought it would be fun to do with my daughter, and I could chicify mine up :)
